Should Radiologists Have More Face Time with Patients?

The American College of Radiology (both the associated journal and the leadership) has been making a major push toward encouraging radiologists to spend more face time with their patients. Despite technological improvements, professionals in this particular corner of healthcare have an unfortunate reputation for being isolated and impersonal. A lack of visibility is hamstringing the radiology industry and it needs to be stopped.
